Bio
Dominic Butcher is Head of Sales at Damisa, where he leads commercial strategy and client relationships across Damisa's global payment and settlement infrastructure.
Dominic brings 18 years across payments, having worked both sides of the table in traditional financial infrastructure and the digital asset ecosystem. Most recently he led digital assets and specialised verticals at Nexi and Paysafe, two of Europe's largest payments businesses. That breadth is the point: he can sit with a treasury team and talk corridors, settlement and FX sourcing as comfortably as he can discuss stablecoin rails and on/off-ramp mechanics.
Because his career was built from the technical floor upward, Dominic understands how these systems actually behave in production. For Damisa clients, that means conversations grounded in how cross-border money movement really works, with a focus on solving the underlying problem rather than fitting them to a product. He takes a consultative, relationship-led approach and is comfortable engaging on both technical and commercial detail with stakeholders at any level.
Outside work, Dominic is an avid reader across psychology, philosophy and economics, and a session guitarist who has played in professional Pink Floyd tribute acts.
