Alex brings close to two decades of operational depth from Google, where he spent 19 years working across Ireland, the US, Brazil, Switzerland, and Poland. He led international teams spanning Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Sales, and M&A integration, most recently heading Google's International Source-to-Pay organisation and Global Finance Transformation. That included serving as Business Lead for Google's blockchain-based invoice validation programme, a multi-billion-dollar spend initiative that delivered approximately $150 million in annual savings.
After Google, Alex served as CEO of Penguin Infrastructure Holding, scaling a Bitcoin mining and AI data centre operator to around $50 million ARR and a workforce of over 140 people across its headquarters and sites.
He holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen and Rotman, and has held advisory roles with Nicity in New York and Enable in Zurich. He is also an active angel investor in early-stage fintech and crypto infrastructure companies.
