Damisa Secures Australian Financial Services Licence

Damisa has obtained an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
Compliance is central to the company mission of providing access to always-on financial infrastructure. Damisa provides a regulated B2B payment platform designed for businesses managing international capital. Clients can manage balances and execute settlements across more than 70 currencies using regulated stablecoin rails. This infrastructure ensures transparent pricing alongside detailed visibility from initiation to receipt.
Obtaining an AFSL requires strict regulatory oversight and substantial capital allocation.
"In regulated payments, the licence is the moat," states CEO Jordan Lawrence. "Each licence requires months of scrutiny and operational discipline to earn. That barrier makes the resulting rail defensible, allowing clients to effectively underwrite counterparty risk."
This regulatory approval enables financial institutions and enterprises to move capital across high-friction corridors under established frameworks.
CCO Thomas Pinter adds,
"Operating as a licensed entity means customers in Australia gain access to same-day settlement alongside the regulatory certainty expected from a payment infrastructure provider."
Members of the Damisa executive team will be travelling to Australia in the coming months and are available to meet in person with businesses managing cross-border transactions.
